This type of research is quantitative. The data collection method used in this study is a questionnaire. The number of respondents in this study is 100 respondents. The statistical analysis tool to test the hypothesis is a simple linear regression analysis with SPSS 16 and Microsoft Excel 2010. Based on the results of the research and discussion to answer the hypothesis, it is known that the t-test results obtained a value of t count &gt; t table (5.220 &gt; 1.984) meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. so that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on community welfare. Financial literacy (X) has a coefficient of determination value according to the SPSS output indicated by the Adjusted R Square value of 0.218, so the ability of the financial literacy variable (X) to influence the community welfare variable (Y) is 21.8%, while the remaining 78.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
