Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of talent management and knowledge management on employee performance at PT. Putra Sumbawa Cahaya Agung Utama. This study employed an associative research design. The data examined in this study consisted of quantitative data collected directly from primary sources through questionnaires. The population consisted of 35 employees of PT. Putra Sumbawa Cahaya Agung Utama. The sample was determined using the saturated sampling method, in which all members of the population were included as the sample. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F-test), and the coefficient of determination test (R²). The results showed that, partially, talent management had no effect on employee performance, as indicated by a t-statistic of 0.622, which was lower than the critical t-value of 2.037 (0.622<2.037). Meanwhile, knowledge management had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by a t-statistic of 2.357, which was higher than the critical t-value of 2.037 (2.357>2.037). Simultaneously, talent management and knowledge management had a significant effect on employee performance, with an F-statistic of 4.749, which was higher than the critical F-value of 3.295 (4.749>3.295). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.454, which indicates that talent management and knowledge management accounted for 45.4% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining 54.6% was attributable to other variables outside the scope of this study, such as the work environment, compensation, and supervisors’ leadership styles.
