This study aims to determine the effects of entrepreneurial characteristics, business characteristics, and the business environment on the success of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sumbawa District, both partially and simultaneously. This study employs an associative research design. The data examined in this study are quantitative data in the form of respondents’ response scores, obtained directly from primary sources through questionnaires. The population of this study consists of all MSMEs in Sumbawa District, the exact number of which is unknown. The sample size was determined using the Lemeshow formula, resulting in a total of 96 respondents. The samples were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, partial hypothesis testing (t-test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F-test), and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that entrepreneurial characteristics, business characteristics, and the business environment have a positive and significant effect on the success of MSMEs in Sumbawa District, both partially and simultaneously. Entrepreneurial characteristics, business characteristics, and the business environment collectively explain 47.1% of the variation in MSME success in Sumbawa District, while the remaining 52.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study, such as digital marketing strategies, community and government support, the ability to adapt to consumer behavior, and product innovation.
